WHAT HAPPENS
During the year
Players start making faster decisions in games. They read situations earlier and react less. Kids who train consistently for two or more terms often become key players in their school or club teams.
TERM 1
Playing Under Pressure
Dribbling against a defender, shooting off the catch, deciding when to pass and when to go.
TERM 2
Reading the Game
Recognising what a defence is giving you before you catch the ball.
TERM 3
Team Play
Moving without the ball, setting screens, and covering for teammates on defence.
TERM 4
Competition Preparation
Everything applied in competitive scrimmages with honest feedback on what to work on next.
