Strathmore Ballers and MOVE have joined forces to create more chances for your child to play basketball.

HOW IT WORKS

  • No team? No problem.

    Every player gets a spot. Whether your child's just starting or already playing, they'll join a club that values growth and teamwork. We welcome all levels.

  • Every player gets game time and space to improve. It's about learning the game and building good habits.

  • All teams are led by the MOVE crew. That means game-based learning, with no pressure.

  • Strathmore Ballers is a community club. We ask parents and players to help with score bench, fundraising, and other small jobs.

  • We keep things simple.

    Team Entry Fee: $500-$1400 per team
    Player Fee: $70-$150 per season, depending on league and grade.
    BBNZ National Levy: $5-$15

    No coaching fees. No hidden extras.

  • We play in Wellington Basketball Association leagues.

    Intercity League

    Seasons: Summer & Spring
    Grades: U12, U14, U16, U20
    Game Day: Saturday

    Hoop Kids Leagues

    Seasons: Terms 2 & 3
    Grades: Y3/4, Y5/6, Y7/8, 7/8 IPL
    Game Days: Monday - Friday
