HOW IT WORKS
Why Strathmore Ballers.
Nina and Hemi started the club in 2016 on an outdoor concrete court with 6 kids. Today we have over 100 players.
No tryouts. Every player gets court time.
We don't run weekly trainings. Most families are too busy to guarantee attendance, and team training only works if everyone shows up. So we focus on getting kids playing every week, with coaching on the day.
Your child gets to play regardless of their current skill level. We figure out the right team based on their age and ability.
COACHING
MOVE Basketball coaches our teams
The same game-based approach as MOVE term programs. Real decisions, real situations, real improvement. Strathmore Ballers is open to any child who wants to play.
COMMUNITY

We ask parents to help with score bench and small club jobs. Our main fundraiser is serving the corporate boxes at Wellington Saints home games. You get to bring the family to watch the game while we work. It's how we keep costs down for everyone.
